Application Process

The Family Medicine Residency Program participates exclusively in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) and will accept applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). We gladly accept applications from Allopathic and Osteopathic students/graduates.

Applicants must be either a United States citizen or permanent resident. We currently do not sponsor any visas.

2023-2024 Interview Season

We will be offering in-person interviews for the 2023-2024 interview season.

A complete ERAS application for PGY-1 will include:

  • ERAS application form
  • Medical School Transcript
  • COMLEX or USMLE scores
  • Minimum of three physician references (at least one Family Medicine)
  • MSPE – Dean's letter
  • CV
  • Personal statement
  • ECFMG Status Report (if applicable)

General Requirements:

  • Required MD or DO from an approved school of medicine within two (2) years of applying to the residency program.
  • MD applicants must have passed USMLE Step 1, Step 2 Clinical Knowledge with a score of 220 or better and must have passed both Step 1 and Step 2 CK on first attempt.
  • DO applicants must pass COMLEX Level 1, Level 2 Cognitive Evaluation with a score of 500 or better and must have passed both Level 1 and Level 2 CE on first attempt.
  • All applicants must complete the scoring requirements by the time the rank order list is submitted at the end of the interview season.
