Manatee Memorial Hospital has had a longstanding and continuing commitment to our community and provides excellent healthcare for women at each stage of their lives. We emphasize the importance of regular medical evaluation for women of all ages and life stages and encourage you to visit your physician regularly. Our services include labor and delivery, a neonatal and intensive care unit (NICU), breast care, and classes, support and education.

Breast Care Center
The Breast Care Center at Manatee Memorial Hospital offers a comprehensive program for early detection, diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer, and has earned the Breast Center of Excellence designation from the American College of Radiology.
Caring for the special needs of women and their babies is the focus of the Family BirthPlace at Manatee Memorial Hospital. We offer comprehensive prenatal care, private labor, delivery and recovery units and Postpartum couplet care.
MOMM's Place offers a variety of classes, programs and services for families and their new babies at the Perinatal Education Center located on the third floor, Suite 3F, of the Outpatient Services Building at Manatee Memorial Hospital.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
The Manatee Memorial Hospital NICU is Manatee County's only Level II NICU and has the advanced technology to care for tiny and special care babies. Neonatologists and neonatal professionals, including nurses, physical therapists, respiratory therapists, occupational therapists and breastfeeding specialists are here to provide the care needed.
