Manatee Urgent Care Offers Accessible Services Close to Home

Raising a family comes with its fair share of bumps, bruises, coughs and back-to-school physicals. For the Luh family, Manatee Urgent Care has been a steady and reliable resource, caring for their four children and now their granddaughter with accessible services close to home.
“We have lived in Manatee County going on 35 years this August, and in east Manatee County for 20 of those 35 years,” says Larry Luh. He is Assistant Chief of EMS Operations for Manatee County Emergency Medical Services (MCEMS), and his wife, Grace, works for the Sheriff’s Office.
“All the kids, my wife and I have visited Manatee Urgent Care,” he says. “Accessibility was a big thing, and there was not a long wait to be seen. The staff was always pleasant and courteous. We knew we could go to the urgent care center and get our needs met.”
Manatee Urgent Care has helped them through everything from typical flu symptoms to allergies, vaccinations and annual physicals for soccer and football. “They’re very detail-oriented, they make sure they cover everything with you,” says Luh. “If you’ve got to get a prescription, they ask what pharmacy to call. They take care of the customer’s needs in a full circle, everything is done from the beginning to conclusion.”
While there are two Manatee Urgent Care facilities, the Luhs have mostly used the one closest to their home, on SR 64 East, and they’ve recommended it to new families and residents who live near them. “They can take care of you,” says Luh.
About our Urgent Care Services
A wide range of services are offered at the two Manatee Urgent Care centers, including school and sports physicals, vaccinations and flu shots, EKG testing, lab analysis, X-rays and more.
