Meet Our Program Director

Kirsten Fanning Parker, PharmD, BCPG, BCPS, is the Pharmacy Residency Program Director (RPD) at Manatee Memorial Hospital. She completed her Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Florida and a Geriatrics Specialty Residency at the Geriatric Research, Education, and Clinical Center (GRECC) at the Durham VAMC and Duke University. After completing her residency she was an Assistant Clinical Professor at Auburn University. Dr. Parker has also been the PGY1 RPD at Florida Hospital in Orlando and Johnson City Medical Center. She is Board Certified in Pharmacotherapy and as a Geriatric Pharmacist. She is a past chair for the exam development committee of Commission for Certification in Geriatric Pharmacy. She joined MMH in 2013 and serves as the primary preceptor for the following learning experiences: Clinical Practice Advancement, Medication Safety, and Internal Medicine.
