It is with pleasure that I introduce you to Manatee Memorial Hospital. Manatee Memorial Hospital has been serving the families of Manatee, Sarasota and surrounding counties for over 59 years. At Manatee Memorial Hospital, we are committed to providing the best in quality medical care and patient safety in an atmosphere that is compassionate and professional.

Manatee Memorial Hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission and offers a comprehensive range of medical services, including cardiac, cardiovascular, surgical, emergency, women's, children's and orthopedic services. We also offer specialty programs in chest pain, stroke, behavioral health, breast care, Level ll Neonatal Intensive Care, wound care, and surgical program that include the da Vinci® Surgical System robot, EsophyX™ incisionless surgery and lap-band surgery. We have more than 1300 employees, 400 active physicians and 500 volunteers at MMH.

Each year since 2006, Manatee Memorial Hospital has received the Stroke Gold Performance Achievement Award from the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association. Now, the hospital has attained the next level by receiving their Get With The Guidelines® Stroke Gold Plus Performance Achievement Award, three years in a row, 2009, 2010 and 2011.
