A good night’s sleep is no longer just a dream.

If you are one of the millions who snore, sleep poorly, wake up with headaches, are fatigued or remain excessively sleepy throughout the day, you could have a sleep disorder. Sleep disorders can negatively impact your life through strained relationships, health problems, poor performance at work or school, moodiness and irritability.

At Manatee Memorial Hospital, we know that sleeping well can enhance your quality of life. We offer advanced techniques, board-certified physician-supervised care and leading-edge facilities to help determine what's preventing you from truly restful slumber.

You know...the kind you’ve been dreaming of.

There are over 80 sleep disorders that include:

  • Snoring
  • Sleep apnea

  • Periodic limb movement disorder (PLMD)
  • Parasomnias, including sleepwalking, night terrors and nocturnal eating disorders

A sound sleep through technology

Research indicates that getting adequate sleep is vital to health and proper function. Chronic sleep deprivation impairs brain function as well as certain physical processes. Even losing just a few hours of sleep per night can have a dramatic impact on memory, judgment and concentration over time. Lack of sleep also reduces the body’s ability to process sugars and increases stress hormone levels, which can lead to more serious problems.

Manatee Memorial Hospital is dedicated to helping you get a good night's sleep—every night.
