Support Groups

HOPE STROKE SUPPORT GROUP FOR STROKE SURVIVORS AND CAREGIVERS

Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month from 4 – 6 p.m. at the Bradenton Country Club, 4646 Ninth Ave. W., Bradenton.

Each month a different topic and speaker will be featured. This support group is in partnership with Florida Home Health and Manatee Memorial Hospital. Dinner is provided. Please RSVP to 941-773-4628 to make a reservation and for questions.

Lap-Band Surgical Weight-Loss Support Group

This group meets every other month at 6:00 p.m. in the Medical Office Building lobby located next to the hospital. Upcoming dates are: May 20 and July 15.  Come to a meeting that will keep you informed and on the road to success. Call 941-746-5111 ext. 57756 for information.

Pregnancy Loss Support Group

Open to anyone who has experienced miscarriage, stillbirth or a newborn loss. Meets the first Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. in the Meditation Room in the Patient Tower at the hospital. Call 941-745-6925 for information.

Women Living with Cancer Support Group

Open to any woman who has experienced any type of cancer. Meets on second and fourth Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. in the Medical Office Building, Suite 3F – MOMM's Place, 941-745-6925.

Yoga Class

Date: Every Friday
Time: 10:30 a.m.
Location: Medical Office Building, Suite 3F – MOMM's Place

This is a special class for those whose lives have been touched by cancer.
