LapBand Support Group
MMH offers a support group for Lap-Band patients each month. Upcoming support group dates are:

Pregnancy Loss Support Group
Open to anyone who has experienced miscarriage, stillbirth or a newborn loss. Meets the first Thursday of the month at 7:30 p.m. in Conference Room 2 in the Patient Tower at the hospital. Call (941) 745-7436 for information.


Women Living with Cancer Support Group
Open to any woman who has experienced any type of cancer. Meets on 2nd & 4th Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. in the Medical Office Building, Suite 3F – MOMM's Place, (941) 745-6925.


HOPE Stroke Support Group
A stroke support group for stroke survivors and caregivers.
"The Art of Caregiving"
Presented by: Marilyn Tait, RN, Neuroscience Nurse Educator & Motivational Speaker

Time: 4 – 6 p.m.
Location: Bradenton Country Club, 4646 Ninth Ave. W., Bradenton

A free heart-healthy dinner and beverages will be served.
Complimentary specialized golf instruction by a PGA-certified golf instructor.
