Prepared Childbirth
Giving birth can be a physical, emotional and life-changing event. You'll learn how to deal with the discomforts of pregnancy, as well as how best to prepare for the physical and emotional challenges of childbirth during this four-week class for mothers and their partners. We'll also discuss current infant care practices, and give a tour of the Family BirthPlace at Manatee Memorial Hospital. We recommended that you register for this classes during your second month of pregnancy.
Time: 7 – 9 p.m.

Your Amazing Newborn
You'll learn about characteristics of newborn babies and recommended care for your infant. We'll also explore emotional changes and challenges that face new parents.

Introduction to Breastfeeding
We'll discuss benefits and preparation for breastfeeding your newborn. New moms are encouraged to invite their partners to this class.

Keeping Baby Safe
This class is an introduction to infant CPR, car seat safety and what to do in common emergencies.

Mommy Yollet Classes
Yollet is designed to enhance the wellbeing of the body and soul of a pregnant woman. It combines the movements of yoga and ballet, to help strengthen your body and use the meditative qualities of yoga to enhance the relaxation of your mind.
